The project has been running since 2018. Its main goal is to prepare Ukrainian children for today’s realities and teach them how to act correctly in emergency situations — how to save themselves, a friend, or a stranger before medical help arrives.

The Young Paramedic course is designed for 10th–11th grade students and consists of two stages:

1. Basic first aid training: Students learn to assess the condition of a casualty, stop bleeding, respond to burns, injuries, and loss of consciousness, and perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

2. Course competition: Participants complete a series of practical tasks, demonstrate their knowledge, and receive certificates and prizes.

Training is conducted by experienced doctors and paramedics, as well as instructors from the SAR Training Center. Lectures take place in rooms equipped with safe shelters in case of air raid alerts.

Course participants gain practical skills for protecting health and saving lives. These are lessons that will stay with them forever, and when the time comes, they will save a person’s life.
